Pucker Up: Kat Von D @ Sephora

I recently took a trip to a magical cosmetics land called Sephora, Fashionistas, I’m sure you are familiar with this Utopia. It’s a fascinating place full of sparkles, falsies, shimmers, and shadows.

I have been eager to give the Kat Von D line a whirl, because I am a huge fan of that bad ass chica. Thankfully her line didn’t disappoint. The shadows are quality, not that cheap stuff that barely shows. The shadows in her line are great for blending and come in an array of colors for different skin tones. I fell in love with the lipstick. Nice and thick, just the way I like it. I went with a dark tone called ‘Homegirl’, not only because I am a homegirl, but because the color is ah-mazing. It’s a deep rich tone that falls somewhere between mulberry, black, and mocha. Lip colors such as this have graced runways, magazine covers, and editorial pieces all over the country this 2011 fall season.
