Hello Fashionistas!
This Blog comes to you all the way from Singapore! I am far far away from home vacationing with my family and visiting my Pops, as he was assigned to a new mutlimillion dollar cutting edge Casino property here. Las Vegas is half way around the world from here, it took over 14 hours of flying to get here, and it has been well worth every moment.
Growing up in the military, I am used to world travel, however it has been quite some time since I’ve been over seas. I love it, it teaches you a lot about yourself to travel outside of your own country.
Singapore is astounding and I will definatly have a fashion post to follow. The style here is such a melting pot, just like all the people here. Singapore lies near China, Malaysia, and Indonisa, and it is evident in the fashion. There are visable influences in the fashion here from Japan, India, and those who are Muslim.
Malls run rampid here, even more so than in the U.S., if you can imagine that! The malls here include pharmacies, dental offices, and grocery stores which makes them essentailly a ‘one stop shop’ for many of the citizens here. The national language is English, which makes communication with locals smooth and enlightneing. Many of the stores that are at home are here too including Louis Vuitton, Armani Exchange, Guess, and Aldo. There are also many stores and designers that are only available here and not in the U.S.
I have gone on a shopping frenzy and will be posting very soon about my delightful finds. There are most definatly fashionistas in Singapore, have no doubt!
More to come soon Fashionistas

This past week I had the esteemed pleasure of working with The Ting Tings as their right hand gal for the Red Bull SoundClash event here in home sweet home, Las Vegas. I spent 5 days with the band and in that time they captured a little piece of my heart. <3 The Red Bull SoundClash concert was on Saturday March 12th and featured The Ting Tings vs. CeeLo Green in a musical battle, challenging the opposers to sing one another’s hit songs. The Ting Tings put in hard core work, rehearsing their bums off for the event. Of all the musical artists I’ve worked with, The Ting Tings (and camp) are the most delightful. Love them. During my time with the band my favorite experience was when I helped style Katie White for the performance. As a wrap to the whole event, I partied it up with the group at Marquee Nightclub to the memorable beats of Kaskade. I couldn’t ask for a better job. xo

Saturday March 5th marked the Grand Opening of Chateau Nightclub inside Paris Las Vegas. Pure insanity was the scene outside the velvet ropes that held eager the party goers at bay. Once granted access, it was up the stairway you go, off to the enchanted land of booty shakin’. The night began with a killer set by DJ Samantha Ronson, which was followed by a house pumping performance by Drake.
All in all a damn good night. Fashion/Party Lovers, I suggest Chateau Nightclub; one hot spot. xo

Every true fashionista loves a night out. After all, the world is our catwalk, right? Right.
“One of the best things about living in Vegas is always being a tour guide”, I tweeted between giggles with friends, both local and visiting. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
Locals and visitors alike, we made our way out to LAVO, to bootie shake the night away. <3 LAVO.

Shake off your Monday Blues because now Monday Nights Rock or at least at Crown Nightclub, they do. Beginning tonight, Monday February 28th at 9:30pm, Crown Nightclub will feature its Monday Night Rocks series kicking off with ‘Days of the New.’ ‘Days of the New’ first hit the scene in the early 90’s, their grunge/punk sound takes me back. ‘Touch, Peel, and Stand’…come on my Generation X people where are you with me on this one? Ahh the good ol’ days, don’t worry if you can’t find your Doc Martins or flannel, we’ll let it slide…this time. Search no further for the single most bitchin’ concert experience you’ll find in Sin City on a Monday Night. Locals are free and drink specials include $2 beers and $5 shots of Jack Daniels. Crown Nightclub is located inside the Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino, call 702-733-8229 to purchase tickets or for more information.

Monday Night Rocks: February 28th, 2011
Just as promised, Monday Night Rocks kicked off at 9:30pm on February 28th, inside Crown Nightclub. As I made my way up to the venue, anticipation grew upon site of the eager crowd. Filling into the spacious theater, the concert goers began to make a straight dash for the bar, myself included. Free admission followed by uber affordable drinks = one happy me.
The band ‘Fall in Vain’ opened for ‘Days of the New’ and they ROCKED the house. I am always one to give ‘props’ where ‘props’ are due, and let me tell you ‘Fall in Vain’ gets mega ‘props’ from this music lover. The lead vocals were pristine and the bands music was perfectly executed evoking rock bliss.
‘Days of the New’ began their set with a bang, completely pulling in the already captivated crowd. The talent in Travis Meeks’ (lead vocals/guitarist) fingers alone were enough to keep my attention, but there was oh so much more. Melodic, versed, and tranquil, yet not devoid of one ounce of rock, ‘Days of the New’ hit the nail on the head with their performance. The sound quality and lighting of Crown Theater create a musical experience above that of just your average concert.
The next Monday Night Rocks Event will be held on Monday March 7th @ 9:30pm, Crown Nightclub inside Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino. The featured artist will be Sophie B. Hawkins.

There was Magic in the air. Well, kind of. It was the after party of all after parties for the popular MAGIC Show right here in my home sweet home, Sin City. For those not familiar, the MAGIC Convention is a huge trade show dedicated to the Clothing and Apparel business. Brands, designers, retailers, celebrities, and media all flock to Vegas to soak themselves in fashion and excitement. Exciting is just what it was too. Post V-Day, February 15th, 10pm, Haze Nightclub inside Aria was the place to be.
Smack dab in the middle of it all was me. I consider myself lucky to have been asked by the Hennessy Black brand to represent them at this oh-so-amazing event. Senses on euphoric overload, I head bobbed my way through one of the most fashionable crowds I’ve ever head bobbed through. The lights and music danced with one another just as the crowd did. It was as if everyone there was on the same vibe, I think it just may have been that good good night the Black Eyed Peas have been singing about. Corsets fitted, shots poured, and we’re off; like an army of shot girls from Platoon Sexy.
The dance floor was packed. Booty’s were shakin’ all around. The music was on point. It was the place to be. xo

I consider myself a lucky gal to have been asked to be a part of this event. Post MAGIC Convention, there was such a party spirit in the air; fashion industry folks really came to party! The celebration of fashion was contagious. The vibe was high energy, social, and fashionable bliss infused with killer music. The House of Blues was filled with the hottest Puma’s imaginable, hot fashion savvy men, N.E.R.D performing…this gal was on sensory overload. My personal kudos to everyone involved. xo
